Book Review: Don't Let Him In by Lisa Jewell

I read Don't Let Him In in just under two days—which honestly tells you a lot right off the bat. It’s fast-paced, twisty, and told through alternating POVs that kept me engaged the whole time. I love a multiple-perspective mystery—it keeps my brain guessing and stops me from scrolling every five seconds.
This one follows a man who manipulates and swindles women, all while believing he's exactly what every woman wants—a charming, generous, high-value guy. Spoiler: he’s not. The story is dark, but not in a way that’ll keep you up at night (so you’re safe to read this alone at home with the lights low and a glass of red).
As someone who’s always down for a thriller, I did enjoy this one—especially the commentary on modern dating, red flags, and what we want to believe about people. But I’ll be honest: the ending fell a little flat for me. I saw it coming, and I was hoping for a slightly bigger twist or final punch.
Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely.Would I put it in my top 5 thrillers of all time? Probably not.
Still—Don't Let Him In was a solid, bingeable read that I’d pass along to a friend, especially for a weekend escape or poolside page-turner.
